So the plan...

Starting tomorrow (my favorite date to start everything) I'll be starting my new rigorous healthy lifestyle. Hopefully, my willpower will follow suit, so I don't fail in front of an audience. I'll post my diabetes numbers in the morning, my daily regimen and the results by the end of the day. To kick off my long road back to healthy, I' ll be posting the top things to do to manage your diabetes. They work when I use them consistently. Some are easier to use than other methods, but I'll explain the best ways to use them and the best places to buy them, although most of these can be bought at your local whole food store.

In a bit of honesty, I was supposed to start today with my new healthy lifestyle, but unfortunately I succumbed to the call of my favorite candy

and a large coke.
Why did I start my day this way? Because I made the mistake of opening a site that showed pictures of all the things I shouldn't be eating. I read a great article about the 15 greatest carcinogenic (cancer-causing) foods, but they proceeded to show images of the foods, which of course made me crave the foods. Smh. So why did I choose to include pictures? To show you the power of imagery. For all future posts the only images, I'll show will be healthy ones. I promise.  I'll also be minimizing my involvement online which will be interesting since I am trying to promote my book.
